There is NO option to attend and pay ONLY the Scientific Forum - you must be an Austrauma Registrant - full or day only.

Abstract submissions are still closed for oral presentations and poster board presentations. The option of submitting for consideration of either of these is will open soon. Please note the dates below and conditions.

Instructions for Abstract Preparation:
- Abstracts have to be written in English and should not contain figures (pictures, tables, charts).
- Please do not submit abstracts with data already published.
- Abstracts should follow the format - Purpose, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
- Abstracts must not exceed 350 words, excluding title, authors and institutions.
- For typing the abstract use Times New Roman font 12 pt with single line spacing.
- Abstracts submitted must be in a subject relevant to trauma, critical care or emergency surgery management.
Notification of Accepted Abstracts:
- You will be notified by email whether or not your abstract has been accepted.
- On notification of successful submission you must contact the Austrauma Abstract Committee to confirm acceptance to present at the Conference.
- After notification of acceptance, payment of registration fee must be made prior to the 10th January.
- We will charge early registration rates.
- Oral Presentations are of ten minutes duration with 2 minutes question time.
- Poster requirements are as follows: size A0 (height 1189mm, width 841mm) in portrait format.
- The timetable for oral presentations will be given closer to the conference date.
- The Austrauma Organising Committee does not take any responsibilities for payments of fees, transport, accommodation or otherwise.
- Prizes will be awarded for the best oral presentation and for the best poster following the last session of the conference in the Main Auditorium.
- The Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to reject unsuitable abstracts.
